Close In Weapons Specialist LLC was founded in November 2020 with a simple goal: to provide safe, practical, and accessible firearms training to the community. What began humbly in the back of a friend’s gym has grown into a mission-driven company dedicated to teaching responsible firearm handling, personal protection, and safety fundamentals.

In 2021, I expanded into two storefront properties, operating with 4 shooting booths and 4 firearms training simulators. These facilities allowed me to train students using realistic, scenario-based environments that focus on both skill and judgment.

Since 2023, I have been training out of my personal facility, built with 2 full ranges and 2 firearms training simulators. My ranges are designed for hands-on, safe training where students can fire:

• .43 caliber and .50 caliber paintball rounds
• .43 caliber and .50 caliber rubber rounds
• .43 caliber plastic rounds

We use: Glock, M&P, HK and AR T4E CO2 blow back Training Firearms.

This setup provides an authentic training experience without the risk of live ammunition, helping students build confidence and skill safely.

In addition to personal protection and concealed carry instruction, I also teach the Children’s Firearms and Safety Fundamentals classes. These programs are designed to help children understand firearm safety, develop awareness, and learn how to respect firearms — reducing risks and preventing accidents in the community.

Today, I am preparing for the next stage of growth: opening a new training facility. My goal is to move into a 100 ft. x 100 ft. (10,000 sq. ft.) space that will feature:

• 4 to 6 state-of-the-art firearms training simulators
• 4 firing ranges
• A modular shoot house for tactical and defensive training
• 2 offices for operations and administration
• 2 conference/training rooms for classroom learning and group instruction

This facility will not only expand training opportunities for adults but will also strengthen community programs, giving families and young people a safe place to learn firearm safety and responsibility.
